I see Nathan retired after Saturday. Got a lot of criticism at times but turned over relatively young went up through the weights, and moved through the levels as well right up to world title level

For me got out right time, hopefully be able to live a comfortable life and not have any lasting damage. Not a great favourite of mine but I respect him from Kovalev fight, can see in his face realises not able to take power when Kov hits his gloves in 2nd round so goes for broke instead of running and accepting a points defeat

    Good luck for the future

Yes tough guy and good career. Was world level conpetitor but was always up against it against the top guys

You could see Saturday he's lost it. Should have been more conpetitve against Jack

Always been ****. Blasted away by Kov, awful awful fight against Bellew where he just leaned against the ropes for 12 rounds. Punches like a powderpuff girl. Wears that stupid mexican headband as if to make us believe he's some kind of warrior. He's a bum. Never been good enough and only reason he won against Braehmer was the injury.

    Good riddance.

Are you talking about Bellew v Cleverley 2? Cleverly clearly got injured and refused to quit or be knocked out by Bellew

Not his biggest fan as a boxer but he never ducked anyone and always came across as a class act.

Fringe world level but fell short of world class. Had a good career and in some entertaining fights.

When he boxed through the ranks - he boxed, he stuck and moved well. Then he started believing he had genuine power - when he hasn't. So if you look at his losses, Bellew/Fonfara/Kov/Jack - they're all the same, he believed he could stay in the pocket and outman all of these stronger fighters, he couldn't and didn't.
He's done the right thing to retire, but he could have been much better if he knew his limitations. Disappointing he could have done more had he had more brains than balls.

Had a decent career although he is a poster boy for paper world champions.

Had a good career was world level but obviously not up there with very good world champions let alone elite but no are 99.99% of fighters so no shame there. Think he would have even had a better career if be got a top coach and stayed with them. Wish him a healthy and safe retirement.

Yes lots of limiting issues here

Always fought a terrible style for his dimensions. Opting to stand and trade with shorter fighters on the inside.

He was born with ape arms why he wanted to do that i don't know

Never had decent coaching. His dad and some dude with a cap backwards were his main coaches

Early on found out he had good chin. Which was his downfall for later fights. Thought he could walk through punchers. Doesn't happen at heavier weights . He thought he was calazaghe but calxaghe used to in and out and laterally . Where as he just stood there with his gloves up.

His ego was fragile and could get dragged into wars unnecessarily.

He had a good career but if he didn't his career with Enzo I think he would have had a better career. A top coach which his last two certainly were not would have got him working behind the Jab.

He just physically didn't seem there on Sat. He usaually throws fast combos and jabs. His jab was lazy and he looked like he ran out of ideas or gas very early on

I was expecting him to at least do the 12 and lose on UD

Unless of course Jack going up is realising his full potential and is a real star in the making . In which case clev unlucky again to meet a talented foe
