With good coaching he would of achieved a lot. Freddie roach raved about clev when he came to wildcard was surprised he didn't know a few basic things . I think he told clev he like to train him but clev declined what a plonker
i always got the feeling that it was more important for his dad to become the next enzo than for his son to become the next joe. maybe thats not fair, but it looked that way. he wasnt going to sack his old man, which is why his dad should have encouraged him to go elsewhere, esp if he really wanted the best for him. He really was a talent that could have been so much more.
I really enjoyed watching him come through the ranks. I remember when he got the kov fight. Everyone on this forum new his time was up but we all gave him huge respect for not vacating. As has already been pointed out. Not having a good boxing coach didnt help his career. Ive enjoyed watchin clev over the years. Good luck to him
