Hell yeah. I wouldn't feel the need 2 defend the man so much if people didn't talk about him as if he were some kind of ****ing Terry Daniels or something!

I've never in my life seen so much hate for somebody who'd died 2 decades prior, and whom they (those who hate him) didn't even know. Very baffling.

You said it. It's uncanny to say the least. I would just like to see how courageous those people are with their mouths in the presence of Cleveland Williams. If any of them met him, they'd probably shake his hand and say how he's one of their favorite fighters!

What would you say to Big Cat if he came back? Ha Ha. But seriously, he had moxie to come back after the horrendous gunshot wound that he suffered in 1964, then to work his way back to fighting a peak champion Muhammad Ali on Nov 14 1966. Cleve almost died after taking a bullet from a .357 magnum, his management took advantage of him. Good man and good fighter.

Just for laughs, would you not be scared? Would you tell him about his critics? Would you tell Williams to pay them a visit? Ha Ha.

I probably would be intimidated. The guy's an absolute beast. He looked like he was on steroids before boxers used them.
I think I would play a prank on the critics. I would start a debate w/ them, and get them 2 say all the negative things, all the while Cleve is standing there listening, unbeknownst to them of course, and at some point he makes a surprise appearance and they most likely have the hell scared out of them.

I know I would be scared as Satan's residence. If I was a magician, I would put gloves, trunks, on them, with a referee, and in a boxing ring. Across from them would be prime Cleveland Big Cat Williams, 10 rounds. Lol.

I have. Man, I'm telling you, that's the most hysterical thing I've heard in quite a while. It's 1: 00 a. m. here and I'm sure someone in my house heard me.

Where can i find the AP score for Williams - Machen Swag? I'm not sure i ever tracked it down.

The AP had Williams the winner by 1 point. I'm not sure i'd call that clear?

Also my maths is a bit off in older age. With two judges scoring it 46-44 for Terrell wouldn't recognising the knock down have quite likely made it 46-45 on those two cards therefore making no difference to the outcome?

Both fights from what i have garnered were close with no outrage really.
