Cleveland Williams hit harder than Sonny Liston

Yeah, one shouldn't read too much into these. Leonard said in his last one that Mayweather had the best defence of anyone he faced... By chance I just rewatched that one, and while he was a bit tricky for Leonard he shipped a lot of big punchers. A more mature and better Leonard had a much harder time to land clean on Benitez and Duran. No contest, really. As tricky opponents go, Mayweather is more on the level of Kalule for Leonard, and probably a bit below even him.

So as for Lewis and Douglas,,, Let's use our eyes shall we. Maybe Douglas's jab was as hard as Lewis's, or thereabouts, but for power punches it's not even close. Even if McCall was consistent in picking Douglas I wouldn't believe him anymore than if Leonard was consistent in picking Mayweather. At the end of the day it's there for us to see.
