You think a prime Arreloa couldn't beat Fred Kassi?
Do you think he deserved to be ranked top 10 going into the Wilder fight?

Maybe he didn't train for Kassi. I assume neither of us watched it, and may God help your soul if you track down these sorts of fights and watch them. The sanctioning bodies have to be more objective when they rank. Arreola held multiple minor WBC trinkets and fought for the WBC title multiple times, so he probably met a lot of their criteria for a ranking. He was maybe top 20 at the time.

    You assume correctly.

Perhaps you're correct on the WBC reasons for ranking him.

We disagree on him warranting an independent top 20 ranking, though it seems we agree he didn't a top 10 rating, which is the main crux of this thread.

As @Pugguy can confirm, approximately all opponents Williams beat were rated with about half of them being number one contenders.

Doesn’t really matter. I think the undefeated version of Luis Ortiz who fought wilder the first time would have flattened Williams AND his best victims

Well, it really goes without me saying, I would think. Right on par with my man Ingo.

PS - whenever my alert tells me “Swag mentioned you”, it does make me a tad nervous.

At least on this occasion, nothing to worry about.

PS - your last check did bounce, bounced harder than Joe Grim off the canvas.

That's not what i'm seeing because a draw and two losses have nothing to do with the thread, like say, Williams two losses to Liston. Completely irrelevant. It's about wins, over Ring top 10 contenders.

So i'm seeing two guys, one of them twice, like Williams at this point.

Am I seeing this correctly, or is Wilder one win or draw away from matching Foreman's total wins and draws against top 5 heavyweights?

Please try and stick to the thread topic (vs personal infatuations) or start your own. Do you have any other top 10 contenders to burst forth?

All jokes aside, your obsession with Foreman is starting to become seriously concerning.
