I explained if very carefully and thoroughly. If you don't understand, there is nothing I can do for you. I can explain it to you...I can't understand it for you.

I like Ingo in this one, but I probably wouldn’t bet money it. two hard punchers with questionable chins can produce just about any result

Your argument is misguided at best and disingenuous at worst. You're acting like they'll be swapping paper resumes of their accomplishments, who they beat, and results against common opponents (of which their were only 2, Richardson who Williams beat earlier than Ingo despite facing a fresher version, and Machen who drew with Williams in a fight most thought Williams won, and was ko'd by Ingo in one.)

Look at for example Brian London. He lost to multiple men who Ingo demolished, yet none of that mattered when they met in the ring. London all but knocked Ingo out who was saved by the bell, with the ref saying "I would have stopped the fight if the bell had not saved Johansson. He could not have continued."

I like Ingo and get a kick out of him from his moment in time but if lightning ever struck twice in a career it was for him .. he caught Machen and crushed him, no doubt but I sure would like to know what the hell happened to Eddie that night .. I personally don't think if they fought a total of ten times Ingo wins another .. then he fights a coddled, insecure Patterson who fought the worst collection of title opponents in history because his manager was bananas ... he crushes the mentally unstable and unprepared Floyd and that's essentially his career because he really fought no one else .. I feel Williams was much bigger, faster, faster starting, had a huge reach advantage and two handed power .. I feel he took a better shot too although for sure each man could flatten the other ... I pick Williams with a nasty KO.

No...the argument is dead on. Boxing is about who you beat. Anything else is your subjective opinion.

Otherwise, there is no sport and anybody is better than anybody.

Williams ACCOMPLISHMENT is not in the same universe. Period.

No offense but this is amateurish thinking. Boxing simply doesn't work like that. If it did, their would be no need to have fights which brings me back to my London comparison (which I've noticed you ignored). London did even much much worse than Williams against common opponents between the three, and yet he all but knocked Ingo out with the referee stating had the fight not been over he would've stopped it, even if it was at the end of any other round.

So as I said, none of that matters when you actually step in the ring. Styles, intangibles, quality, will all come into play.
