I'm kind of conflicted on this one On one hand, i regard Williams as the better fighter. On the other hand, I think Braddock is all wrong for him; will take him to deep waters and pump the jab in his face
I went with Williams on points. For all his shortcomings, James Braddock was durable and sometimes a decent boxer. I think Williams would outwork him though and keep him on the defensive.
Same. I can't pick a winner. Williams should win on paper, but on paper and in the ring can be 2 different things.
Very, very, very, VERY shaky nod to Braddock on points. Prime Williams had a puncher's chance to win anytime he stepped in the ring but Braddock had a stout jaw ... only one man ever put him down for the count in 74 fights, Joe Louis ... and IMO was a slicker boxer.
