Walcott would use his movement to keep away from Williams for the early rounds and then probably land a devastating counter sometime in the mid rounds. Unlike Louis, I don't see Williams getting up to finish the fight.

Walcott pretty dancer in the ring! Man I love his footwork. And Williams, Foreman from the 50-60s

Walcott wasn't exceptionally difficult to beat. Lots of guys did it.

Walcott by knockout. It would only be a matter of time before Williams walks into one of Walcott's counters.

The best version of Walcott should win but that window was sort of a moving target. Both of these guys could be inconsistent. Two excellent left hooks from these guys. Both had good power though Williams was the superior in that department. Jersey was the craftier and more skilled. Would be an entertaining and good strategic fight

We know Joe could get sloppy and blow it, but on his game I got him winning.

Walcott is too slick for him, but Williams is a really live underdog inside the first third of the fight.

I could see Williams winning this one. In the Liston fights Cleve was very quick and effective with his left, I think he lost due to the durability, power and calibre of heavyweight Sonny was. He might be too big, fast and powerful for Jersey Joe.

Whoever lands first contest, but for Walcott,to beat his best version is to try and counter him, which I don't see Williams can do as a brawler,If Walcott can survives the first three rounds Williams shall say no mas before his chin turns to dust.

With 26 rounds against Louis, 14 against Marciano, 20 rounds against Elmer Ray, 9 rounds against Lee Q Murray, 10 rounds against Curtis Sheppard and a nice, modest, 53 rounds against Ezzard Charles, the best chance for a Williams early KO win is god intervening in the fight himself and breaking both Walcott's knees as he enters the ring.
This is so much of a mismatch that the answer could not have been any more obvious.
Walcott beats him by decision or knocks him out and has the fight go his way, any way he likes, that is.

1930s Walcott against Williams will actually be a fight though.
