How is this worthy of a PPV? They're essentially 2 British level fighters who have been destroyed when they stepped up.
Hardly British level?! Not world class but not British level. Disgraceful that this is PPV though but that is only down to the undercard anyway
Cleverly is a former world champion, Bellew is an euro-bum who lost when he stepped up. There was nothing controversial with the 1 match, this rematch is only a cash out.
I scored their encounter a draw, and they are about the same level in my book. Cleverly got his belt without ever fighting a champion or former champion up until he faced Kovalev and got mauled. Belly didn't get the same chances but would probably have beaten Cleverly's post-Kovalev lineup in about the same fashion. He did reasonably well against Stevenson until the big punches started to land and dismissed him. Both are about a level below the top LHW's, and not good enough to mix it up with the top Cruisers also. I exepct Belly to be better at the weight though. But both are far, far removed from being PPV class fighters. PPV sucks carrots anyway.
