I dunno if anyone beats Cleverly easily. He can take a punch and has got great stamina and work rate for the most part. But yeah obviously all those names would likely beat him but all 10 of those are top level boxers. We don't know if Nathan is that good yet (and he doesn't particularly look it) but neither did Carl Froch, Cloud, Dirrell, Ward or Pascal look that great themselves not too long ago
I would favour all of the mentioned fighters to either knock him out or win wide on the scorecards. Cleverly isn't ready for that level yet, and most likely won't be next year either.
For a big tall bloke with wide shoulders who should get plenty of leverage, it appears that Nathan Cleverly has a lack of power at the top level. If he could hit like a Felix Trinidad he would be excellent indeed. Is it time he worked on his punching power and ability with a new trainer? He's certainly not rubbish. We can take a good chin, stamina and heart away from that fight. Tony Bellew deserves great credit for what he achieved on the night. He gave it his best and came into the ring in top shape. A rematch down the line makes great sense and decent money. :good Enjoyable. No matter what the result, Cleverly was landing a lot of the cleaner punches in the first half of the fight, but for a few rounds Bellew was on top and appeared to be turning things.
