If Paulie Malignaggi can win a world title he's capable. He's showing better defence, he's got a certain awkwardness in his favour.

There are going to be nights against top class pressure fighters he'll have to dig deep but against many styles he'll be fine.

    That post deserved a drumroll!

I just hope he shows something in this fight, he's fast turning into the next Audley.

He's still developing though and getting used to the pro game. Cleverley had a poor KO record in his first 10 pro fights and now he looks a good puncher at the weight. Gavin might do the same and eventually sit on his punches a bit once his confidence goes up and up.

its a shame that khan has bounced..we wont have the intense atmosphere for a while now..in terms of British soil/atmosphere/time zone etc..

i hope he does as it would be great for british boxing it just seems to me that people are over rating him on what hes showin in the ring against fighters who arent even there to test him

I thought Clev's power came more from a new style rather than developing he really picks his shots now rather than just throwing loads of punches.

Gavin always had the question marks about power but he is very talented counter puncher. He will see alot of 12 rounders if he lives up to his potential imo.

I thought Frankie's punches looked sharp, but not concussive, but he lacked combinations. He may be a cumulative puncher, rather than a blaster, and doing it on the counter probably takes something out of his punches. Having someone walk on to shots is handy, but it takes time to make them count, perhaps more than the few fights he's had.

Jim Watt makes my teeth itch he's so annoying... btw.

Not seen that much of Gavin's pro career as won't pay for PPV, thought that was pretty impressive though McDonagh's not a bad fighter for 6th fight.

There's quite a lot of depth at LW in Britain and winnable meaningful fights for Frankie ahead.
