This is looking more and more interesting. It's a big gamble for Cleverly. Kovalev has beaten four opponents in just over a year, all TKO's within three rounds. Multiple knockdowns. He's a puncher, good boxer, is strong, looks durable and has kept busy. He throws great combinations and is coming to win. That's a really impressive set of tools\attributes. What can Cleverly do to beat him? Do they see a weakness? :?

Yeah he may have a fight scheduled but i doubt it'll end up being against Kovalev. If it was then why wasn't Kovalev at the press conference that Fw.ank held the other day. It really reeks of Wa.rren's usual BS. If you watch the press conference it's pretty much just 20 mins of ego stroking and saying the usual **** about everyone being scared to fight Clev and all the other bollocks about supposed offers made to Froch (whilst attempting to bait him) and others. If (and it's a big if) the fight does get made then Cleverly deserves some respect for finally taking on a live body in only his 6 defence of his 'world' title. Also there's been absolutely nothing said to suggest that Hopkins is ducking Kovalev. If this fight happens, it's probably because Clev's pushed for it, maybe his deal is running out with Frank, who knows. But it's not just smoke and mirrors, it looks like it's happening.
