So, lets get this straight. Clev is getting credit for wanting to fight Tony Bellew again? I know its an interesting "local derby" but thats about all it is in the greater scheme of things.

Yes and those targeted body shots from the first round onwards didn't help either!

unfortunately the bellew cocksuckers have basically convinced themselves that he is the second coming.

the guy who got bounced off the canvas by a journeyman (and im not talking about mckenzie) and then ran from a journeyman for 12 rounds. not to mention getting clearly beaten by clev but of course bellew was robbed according to people on here. i wonder when bellew is going to fight dawson and KO him and then move up to cruiser and KO all the top fighters there. the klitschkos also better be on the run because bellew could even move up and spark them. it doesn't matter that hes limited, he's bomber bellew.

it wasnt the body shots. bellew was clearly in control and was wiping the floor with clev before he ran out of gas. if bellew had trained a bit harder and ran a few more miles each week he would have won. it was only his stamina that let him down. bellew was robbed by his stamina.

This is the stupidest post in history.

Seriously, are you really this stupid?

Do you think that Bellew didn't train at his absolute best for his (unwarranted) shot a world title?

Do you think that Cleverly had nothing to do with the fact he "gassed", especially given the fact that he was landing clean body shots all night? (slight exaggeration but still)

Believe me, there is a lot more to it (Bellew losing) than simply not "running a few extra miles each week".

Its best for both that this rematch doesn't happen yet.

Bellew should move to Matchroom/Sky (which he is apparently), and get built up Brook-style i.e. fight fringe world level/euro contenders. He'll probably beat them and look pretty good.

Clev should also fight some world level guys in the meantime.

In 12 months time both will have improved, not only their ability but their standing/ranking so its a no brainer that the rematch would be better AND make them more money.

IMO Clev beat Bellew in his backyard, with a shorter than normal training camp and an injured rib. If they fought now, in Wales I can only see a wider decision win for Clev.

Once Bellew moves to Matchroom, do you think this fight will ever happen while Clev is with Frank?

If this doesn't happen this year, I can't see it happening in the short/medium term.

If Bellew leave Fisheyes there is a good chance that he will never see his rematch but personally I'd prefer the rematch when they are both world champs. I have no doubt that Bells is capable. Same goes for Groves - Degale, both capable and would be much bigger fights (much bigger for British boxing)
