Cleverly beats Bellew in a fantastic fight

    Great and exiting fight. Had it 115-113 to Nathen myself. Props to Tony, he boxed miles better than I thought he would and proved he belongs in the title mix. Clev showed great spirit/workrate/skills doing the job in the 'lions den' and deserves some appreciation/big up threads from this forum. But I expect we will proberly see another 20! odd threads bigging up Bellew's effort/ shocking score cards ones, before that happens!.

    Also had it a draw though I gave Bellew the benefit of the doubt in two close rounds. That was a hell of a fight and their styles mesh extremely well. They need to do it again, and then once again when they both own a title. Both guys showed a lot of talent and also a lot of room for improvement. Both are relatively new pros.

    Amazing heart shown by both fighters tonight, I'm all for a rematch rather than Cleverly fighting Hopkins/Dawson.

    I had it to Bellew by 2 rounds...:yep A great fight and credit to both lads...:good

    How could have anyone have given it to Cleverley by 5 rounds...:patsch

    116-113 cleverly really good fight and alot more good 50/50 figts begining to happer in GBR and IRl hopfully it keeps up

    It was a good fight I think Bellew deserves a return fight.Good show from both lads,they did Brit boxing proud.They should have shown the Americans the Bellew v Clev fight after the Hopkins farce.Good fights do still happen!

    I have only seen the last 3 rounds and it looked like a great fight. Credit to both men and nice to see the respect they gave each other at the end. I will watch the rest of the fight tomorrow.

    It wasn't even close to FOTY.

    Unless you meant UK domestic FOTY. Then maybe.

    It was terrific, though.

    The fans and Bellew deserve (and desperately want) a rematch but fat chance Frank & Nate oblige.
