Cleverly is all talk, he could fight someone at world level before calling out Froch

 

Seems a nice guy. Hopefully we can see him in a big fight after the October fight. He needs to face better guys if he wants to improve.

 

He is a genuine nice guy, he doesn't deserve the bad publicity he gets, but like you say desparate needs a step up because he is fighting jokes at the moment

 

Cleverly is one boring ****er, I think I nodded off halfway through that.

 

Hmmm. Either Clev is telling some major porkies or names are unwilling to fight him :huh

He does look genuinely disheartened & pissed off in that so who knows :think

 

It's obviously that the froch fight can't be made right now. How can it when he has to rematch bute at SMW i'm pretty sure that in the contract it will say that froch can't fight a LHW because that would mean if he lost bute would have to move up or cleverly would have to move down. I really hope bute lets the rematch clause go and froch moves up and ko cleverly.

 

I'm starting to think it'll never happen for Cleverly at the top level.

His regression over the past two years has been sad to watch.

The last fight with Karpency was perhaps the most boring I've ever had the misfortune of watching.

His selection was all the more baffling... purely on 'never been stopped', as opposed to coming off a loss/gifted decision win, or slightly past it, or favourable stylistic matchup or a hypejob picked to beat you.

 

He has nobody to blame but himself. There are plenty of decent opponents but he seems to be going for the ones that either aren't in his weight class or have a fight lined up. I hope they can some how pull the hopkins fight off and he gets schooled by old pops.

 

If Beverly want's big and meaningful fights, he needs to get away from you know who, that man is losing touch with reality and is fast becoming a joke.

 

Froch doesn't want Weil's disease that's why he won't fight you Nathan..

 

This is why I dont want Groves to win the wbo title yet, wazza is gonna have him facing nobodies and calling out people. Embarassing to watch.

 

Groves hasn't got himself locked into a ****** management deal so can't see that happening, he also has a deal with Golden Boy for if and when he gets to that level.
