Which domestic champ will go furthest on the World stage?

I think all 3 will win a version of the World Championship. However I think Brook is the most talented, but he is in the toughest division. Macklin as the new Euro champ should get there the quickest, but in the long term I see Cleverly unifying his division.

Clev has great potential. I do not like the guy too much due to his face and the way he talks but I really rate him as a boxer. I can not see too many people beating Clev as he makes his way to a title and I can not see too many of the Dawsons, Johnsons or Hopkins wanting to fight him due to the lack of interest in the states and lack of money.

Brook is in a very hard division but he has a great chance. He can be built up right and get a good opportunity with the elite fighters squaring off instead of chasing belts, hopefully by the time he is ready to fight for a version of a world belt he is good enough to mix it at the top level.

I certainly think Brook and Clev can be greats in British fighter terms, whether they go soft option like JC or go all guns blazing against p4p fighters.

Macklin has a great chance of being world champ. His division is not too great and the fights are open fir him to take. It will be interesting to see what happens next. I really hope he keeps on track with another top opponent in either an eliminator or a straight crack rather than dropping down to fight domestic challengers and making time fights. Macklin needs to strike while the iron is hot and Hatton and Sky should allow him to do that, I would be surprised if he was allowed to wallow.

i still think macklin can go very far, if his punch resistance is fine after the moore war

I think Macklin & Cleverly will be World Champs at some point.

Brook is in a hard division with too many punchers and he needs to keep his chin tucked if he wants any chance. I really doubt he would beat Aydin at Euro level with his style at the minute.

I'd put my money on Cleverly. Looks like the total package.

  14. Cleverly puts his punches together very well, his work ethic and general attitude is second to none. I think he will come good once he passes his degree and totally focuses on his boxing. Brook looks good but as yet we have not seen him against any top fighters domestically as there arent many. Macklin will be good aslong as he keeps his new found focus, he has the skills, punch and chin and in my opinion will go furthest.

I think that Brook is really, really good but he's not quite the ATG worldbeater people have him down as. I think Jennings will beat him.
