    Between them, they threw 2524 punches in the fight.

    Fonfara alone threw 1413 punches.

    Are these records?
    A LHW throwing almost 120 punches a round is pretty incredible

    clev throws a lot of those pitter patter calzaghe style ones though, they don't count hardly except in wales.

    How many did they land?

    Johnny Perez and Joseph Agbeko set the Compubox record for combined punches landed in a title fight with 531 and 528, respectively.

    From Dan Raf's article. However, like far too often, he is incorrect.

    Perez/Agbeko I combined 1,059 punches landed.

    Yes that beat LHW records by a landslide apparently. And it beat other weight class records as well from what I heard.

    On my card he did, granted I score volume no matter how hard they are, Fonfara may have landed the more telling powerful shots but Clev outworked for the first half of the fight.

    Well they're both Haymon fighters so.

    I hardly think either is more marketable than the other either
