Anyone notice that Frankie Gavin's next fight is a six rounder against Steve Saville, wonder if that shows anything in terms of how Frank and their trainers are gaging the development made. It might just be a coincidence that BJ Saunders has faced the weakest opponents and is still in four rounders but it would suprise me if there is something behind that 163lbs he's only like 5"8/9 he should be light middle at tops.
very easy to hit....i have said before i feel Billy Joe is very easy to hit and his style will make for a short career and it's not a great help fighting way above his prime fighting weight.
Spitko is a proper journeyman. Not a survivor, not a guy that falls to the ground as soon as a shot lands.
Agree, TFFP. These four rounds against Spitko will teach him more than a dozen KO wins against patsies.
Ridiculous amount of punches thrown for only 4 rounds. What annoys me about BJS is he was talking about sussing the opponent in the first round but he was clearly going for the early KO... trying to hard to impress maybe :think He's going to be great to watch in the future though
How on earth do these Georgians have winning record they are awful. They throw no punches and have no skills. There should be a ban on them they really are horrible and are always in miss matches.
I like his arrogance.. sick of "media friendly boxers" bout time we had someone who doesn't give a ****
Watched the Cleverly fight in a club and just came online to see if what we heard of Jim Watt's commentary was as pathetic as it seemed on first listen. Appears it was actually that bad and if you only listened to Darke, and especially Watt, without seeing it you'd assume a totally different fight was unfolding. Sky's boxing team (apart from Piper and Adam Smith when he isn't surrounded by the bull**** of Watt and Darke) is now down at the bottom of the pile when it comes to the country's various sports commentary/punditry teams.
