So Cleverly's strategy it seems will be; Hang in and hope Kovalev gets tired of punching him. Worked out real well for Simakov {RiP}. Who fought a lot like Cleverly with the same high volume style.

:lol::lol: STFU stupid Kraut :patsch A fighter with over 90% KO's and whom unfortunately killed a guy in the ring and you claim he lacks devastating one punch power after watching three of his fights.:patsch

That will be a great motivational mantra for his opponents trainers to use. "He (kovalev) hurts you with every punch and even killed a guy but look on the bright side, he lacks one punch power"!

Kov and clev both have a high workrate and both have good chins.
One hurts his opponent genuinely and the other..........well, doesn't.
Simple math would have the russky winning but he's in his opponents
backyard where unscrupulous things occur commonly, so anything can
happen. On neutral soil, kov takes a dump in clev's mouth.:deal

Yes, the judges, referee, etc. will do all they can for Cleverly, by hook or by crook! However, Kovalev throws a lot of punches and they are hard, Cleverly hits like a girl. Still, all Cleverly has to do is run like Hell and his judges and referee will give him a decision. Can Cleverly's referee keep Kovalev off him?

The main thing I worry about is the ref allowing Cleverly to low blow with regularity.

Watch the cheating referee when Hatton fought Tszyu! It was aweful..............if not for the referee Hatton would have lost........... In a neutral site, no contest, still, even with the crooked referee and judges I think Cleverly will get knocked out..............

Mark and Dennis Nelson are the 2 to watch out for, a US father and son team, referee and judge who are favourites of the BBBofC for Cleverly fights, possibly Dave Paris as well who's refed and judged in several and judge Phil Edwards. The Mark Nelson stoppage of the Kuziemski fight was outrageous, the Murat one merely questionable (that's not to say Clev wasn't winning, mind). I would say if these are on the books Kovalev may be in a little trouble, and better watch out for cuts, though I still fancy him to pull it off.

Thing is, I think the HBO $s behind Kovalev will mean less chance of home cooking cos they ain't gonna want to do more business in the UK if they think their latest cash cow's gonna get stiffed. On the other hand with Boxnation trying hard to raise it's profile it could go the other way.

Let's just see shall we, I really, really hope that this fight ain't marred by any questionable decisions, but hey that's :bbb.

no one can question UK scoring and not mention America or Germanys reputations as well. All have bad reps, hell even Paulie gave the lowdown on the way America works.

" I'm a Brit so i choose Cleverly to win. My prediction isn't based on anything and even though i've only seen Kovalev's last fight (at best), he's unproven and can't hang with an elite boxer like Cleverly the Brit "

Ok then, put the money where the mouth at.

Beat the **** out of our guys the vast majority of the time? Dream on, ****smooch.

When our best square off with yours, you get smoked. Mayweather smashed Hatton, and Ward embarassed Froch. And a second rater like Peterson had Khan on ***** street. Kelly Pavlik circa 2007 would have beaten the ever living **** out of any of your present MWs.

Now run along and **** off.

"Macklin is not chinny" he is Irish which may be a reason his Brit china glass is stronger than average, Cleverly as Welsh is on the rock bottom.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

Mayweather won by crooked reffing by Cortez.

Ward won by illegally holding all the time.

Peterson was on the juice, but he still lost the fight. they ripped Khan off.

notice how your guys get their wins? :patsch ****ing dope!

Froch has beaten Taylor and Dirrell.

Khan has beaten Judah, Malignaggi and should have the win over the cheat Peterson.

Calzaghe beat Hopkins, Mitchell, Brewer, Jones, Sheika and Lacy.

Lennox beat every American that he could lay his hands on. (some of them were too scared to fight the big Brit. AHHHHHH poor little lambs)

Hatton beat Malignaggi, Phillips, olivera, Stewart and Callazo.

    Fury beat Cunningham and Johnson.

Benn beat McClellan, Barkley, Dewitt, simms and Williams.

Naz beat Johnson, Kelley and Sanchez.

    Brook beat Jones.

    Danny Williams beat Tyson.

and the amount of times you've ducked fights against us is disgusting. :yep

Khan wasn't once put on ***** street. Murray would beat Pavlik.

this isn't dreaming like you claim, this is the truth. :deal

your guys are too frightened to travel. always cheat. robberies all over the place. duck more fights than any nation on the planet. :rofl

so when it come to the Brits vs Americans (that's if you have the courage to face us in the first place) we beat you down the vast majority of the time.

    smoke on that one. ;)
