"Some people" meaning the Brits?Even Frank wants nothing to do with a rematch and he is on record saying exactly that!I am certain Clev doesn't want any part either.

If there's a rematch, might as have it take place at the morgue. That's Clev's next stop.

As pointless as a Smurf rematching Godzilla.

Great interview only 24hrs after the fight. I've got a new found respect for cleverly. He shows a lot of class in defeat. Hope he rebuilds maybe see if he can squeeze down to smw and join froch, groves, degale in some domestic mega fights.

No grounds for a rematch in my opinion.

Clev strikes me as a smart and down to earth guy, he'd best take some time off and think about his future

I tend to agree. He needs to have a break and decide if he really wants to stick with boxing - he has other options after all - but if he does, and decides to give it 100%, I believe he could be much better than he has shown. I always had the feeling that it was something of a game for Clev, that in spite of all the training etc, he never took boxing completely seriously. As you say, this loss could be the needed wake up call. I also feel he really needs to find himself a new trainer. Quite aside from failing to prepare Clev properly, Vince absolutely should not have allowed him out in the 4th.

As things stand Cleverly can still come back and win a few fights at lower level and cash in. Or use his celebrity status and pursue a different career. A rematch and a devastating KO would be the last thing he needs...
