As we all know, we have a great card this Saturday.

In my wiew the most even and interesting bouts are:
    Cleverly vs. Murat
    Maccarinelli vs. Frenkel
    Hall vs. Konechy

    My wiew of the fights:

    - Cleverly outboxes Murat. I think that at some point Murat´s pressure will give Cleverly some trouble, but the young man will overcome that and win clearly.

    - Frenkel is too young, fresh, technical and powerful for Macca. I have a stong fealing that Frenkel will win this one by KO/stoppage. Macca seems to have only the power left and Frenkel is tough and he can take a puch. Frenkel will outbox Macca early, hurt him at some point and then destroy him. Hopefully Macca can make things interesting. Could be a very nice fight, but if he opens up this could be over in a few rounds.

    - Hall vs. Konechy is a 50-50 fight in my eyes. Konechy is the much better boxer here, but the big question is how well he will be able to make the weight? Konechy has fought 5 of his last fights at middleweight and it was 1,5 years ago when he last fought at 154. If Konechy has trouble making the weight, the Hall is the wrong opponent for him. Hall keeps the pressure on, throws a lot and is a good body puncher. Interisting fight! Konechy is the favourite, but I have a feeling that making the weight and that with Halls style can be a huge problem for Konechy.

Only Cleverly for me. I'm with you on Enzo, he gets stopped for me. Hall is a real 50/50 fight but I'm leaning towards Konecky in this 1.

Cleverly wins, and I still say by KO

I wouldn't say Hall vs Konecny is a 50-50. The fight is massivley in Konecny's favour. He is a big puncher and has only ever lost at the top level. His only loss for 5 years is to Dzinzurik my Majority Decision. He is a top 10 Light Middleweight.

Hall is nothing spectacular. He is the most basic fighter and shows no ring intelligence. If Hall wins it will be becuase Konecny is shot, no other reason.

This is all true. The question of this fight is that can Konechy make the weight. If they would fight at middleweight I would be sure to picj Kocenchy by KO in 8 rounds. I would be sure of that, but Konechy has not made the weight in 1,5 years.

  5. Cleverly is most likely to win. Enzo has a chance, depends on how well Frenkel can take a punch, and Hall is a big underdog.

    Agree with this.

I'm also backing Enzo to do the business.

I think all of them will win. Cleverly has really impressed me recently and Murat looks built for him. Macca seems back to his best and we have little to go on how good the opponent is so maybe he could pull off another good win. Hall should win his best well if Murray could.

    How is Cleverly's chin?

I was watching old Clev and Murat fights on youtube last night, came across a great training montage of Clevs too, I think Murat is like Abraham, tight high defence and explosive striking, but I can see a few of Cleverlys long, raking body shots getting under the elbow of the high guard and will either wear him down or force him to start throwing more, then the accurate Welshman will pick him off. Murat is strong but Cleverly's chin is good, remember some of the shots Danny Mac hit him with just bounced off, and DM was 10-0 (8 kos) then I think, he has good power. I got a fiver on Clev by KO.

I hope Enzo wins, I guess we won't really know how much he has regained until the bell rings though. Frenkel is a solid prospect and the favourite for a reason.

I've seen Hall fight twice before, the first time he was impressive against Bradley Pryce, the second, not so against Small. Having only read about the other guy, it sounds a tough fight for Hall, but if Hall fights well, I'll back him.

Just watched a bit of the press conference on Sky, De Gale and Dilks had a few choice words, both promising each other to stand in the middle and just trade! We'll see...
