To be far Lisa Riley got five million viewers for You've Been Framed and could demolish a buffet in 24 seconds.

Cleverly will fight his mandatory or someone shipped in from the top 100.

  3. So clev could hold 2 belts then by the end of the year and become a player

If that happens then all the criticism for the intervening fights will be proved wrong
The team was playing for time,he is only young so he got in a couple of defences whilst he got stronger and more experienced these also happened to be against American opposition (mediocre admittedly)

Cleverly will be the man at light heavy

Nah Clev fighting either Kovalev or Shumenov is a massive fight easily the biggest of his career to date. This is the step up in class to world level. Exciting fights in my book.

Shumenov and Cleverly are about the same level right now will be interesting. Probably the biggest fights of there career.

It wont be proved wrong. Just because you start fighting good fighters doesnt excuse fighting **** guys beforehand.

And Cleverly will only be the man at Light Heavy when he beats Dawson.

I can't see the fight happening sadly, it's very rare Frank puts his fighters in with these type of opponents, especially when he knows their not ready.

  8. In my opinion cleverly won a title before he was ready,I think he was lucky braehmer never turned up
My point being that fans impressions were that frank was keeping him as paper champ with easy defences whereas the plan has always been to push at the right time

They have made offers to Hopkins froch and shumenov before so what can they do if it doesn't come together

Nathan cleverly has the tools to become a genuine world champion and I'm always surprised at the amount of fans who don't see it
Listen to any ex fighter or pundit their opinion on cleverly

Maybe Frank is cashing out on Cleverly? Clev could be close to the end of his deal, is convinces Clev will leave so thinks...**** it I will match him against Kovalev on HBO and make a ton of money and get options on this Russian that will go on to make a number of WBO defenses.

To be fair Rob, if the fights made that would be the most logical reason.

As if he's gonna fight Kovalev, no way they let him lose his 0 like that

  12. has to be shumenov in a unification , will be good if he can get the WBA to go with his WBO title, maybe that would entice mr.froch

kovalev has no belt , but is very high risk , and frank don't do high risk

I think you just added 4 KO wins to his resume, but otherwise you're right.
Kovalev really made waves lately with the destruction of Campillo, who got robbed by both Shumenov (1-1) and Cloud, and should actually have been the IBF/IBO/WBA unified champ at the time if boxing was a fair sport.

  15. As good as campillo has been in his previous fight against cloud he looked like his punch resistance wasn't as good as it has been
Also he looked out of sorts against kovalev but despite that kovalev does look an exciting contender

Just don't think kovalev will destroy everyone based on one top level performance

He does carry a reputation as a huge puncher though

Shumenov cleverly would be a very good fight
