Cleverly v Kovalev will be the exact same as Calzaghe v Lacy

    Are u2 nuts????

Kovalev is a hybrid between BHOP and GGG.

He's got serious ring generalship and monstrous one punch KO power.

I know Cleverly was looking for a big fight, but the man seriously dug his own grave, much the way Curtis Stevens is attempting to do trying to be a staybusy victim of Golovkin.:nut:nut:nut

Kovalev put Campillo away like no one ever has. Campillo is a former champion who beat the crap out of Cloud, but was cheated. The fans booing...............Campillo has been cheated before..................Kovalev was impressive against Campillo and White. White had beaten some good fighters, esp. the Cuban...........

Yep, Kovalev throws a lot of punches, all extremely hard. Cleverly punches like a feather. It will be a cannon against a bee, bee gun...........

I was watching Cleverly Vs Bellew last night, and the Welshman struggled with him. He didn't like it that Bellew could box and punch, and it looks like Kovalev has more than Bellew, so I can't see it being a walkover. It's actually extremely dangerous for Nathan. Good luck to him I say!

Styles make fights, unless Cleverly runs like Hell he will get knocked out. He should not trade punches with Kovalev.

I agree with you... Nathan can take a punch, but he won't be able to take too many of those. The problem for Cleverly is can he outbox Kovalev for 12 rounds? Kovalev can box as well, so I'm not too sure.

The only thing going for Cleverly (apart from the venue of the fight) is that Kovalev is even more unproven against quality opposition than he is!

I'm really looking forward to this one....

And on top of it all, Cleverly appears to be taking Kovalev lightly..........Lacy did not have the skills, defense, straight punches, stamina, etc., of Kovalev. Cleverly is a volume puncher, but so is Kovalev, only with serious power. I can't see Kovalev running out of gas either. It's a shame Hopkins refused to fight him. Cleverly has done well, but never been in the ring with someone like Kovalev who can punch back, really, really, really hard.................

true, Clev has beaten better opponents, but Kovalev's thrashing of former champion Campillo was still very surprising

Cleverly is a feather-fisted volume puncher, Kovalev is a very precise power puncher, similar to GG, I'm also pumped for this one!
