Some of Clevs recent interviews worry me. There's one on BBC News and one on Walesonline where he's talking about 'biding his time' and 'the big fights are coming'. Seems like he's seriously underrating Kovalev.

Styles make fights and I think this is all wrong for Nathan. He has a good chin and likes to trade but I can't see him taking too many shots from Sergey.

I've got my ticket and the undercard is good quality too, am really looking forward to it.

C'mon Derrick, you 'n' Farmy opposite sides of the coin. Sometimes it's like the battlelines have become irrelevant. Sad thing is you both like the same sport but get daft over it 'stead of just enjoying it.

FWW I think Farmboxer's very often the same calibre of dick as you.

Derrick is an unbiased, anti racist position poster. Why is Derrick treated like a red headed step son? Because hes not a Klitschko fan right. Anyone who is not a Klitschko fan is despicable to these guys and I have had enough and were not going to take it any more! You hear that Klitschko fans!! Im sick it!

Well yeah. It is the question asked in the OP. And, bluntly, this is the answer.

But it obviously ain't just that. The styles clash is fundamentaly different from 'Zaggy vs Lacy. Joe had a far more instinctive feel for fighting and an ability to adapt which I've never really seen in Clev. Nathan has quickness and mobility but he's never really had to go in against someone who really had much of a chance to hurt him. Kovalev is mobile, skilled and hard-hitting. In fact it's Clev who I'm worried may not have a 'B' game, although I've never really seen either fight while they're hurt.

    I don't think so.

Watch the Kovalev versus Lionell Thompson fight and the first knockdown towards the end of the second round. Brilliant.

This guy is not a crude slugger. In fact there is a calmness about his work. Opponents are normally easily put on the back foot with very little effort from Kovalev. He throws a lot of punches, explosive, they take the toll on the opponent even if blocked. A couple of hard punches and the opponents go into a shell, it's just a matter of time then until Kovalev decides to move up through the gears.

Cleverly looks easy to hit, too easy. It's game over as soon as Kovalev lands something big. Those first few of rounds are going to be make or break for Cleverly. If he gets through those intact and is firing back then the game changes.

Brave choice of opponent, but a BIG gamble. Credit where credit is due.

Koralev doesn't like to get touched at all....

Notice the way he backs off everytime he's barely tapped...

    I see something there.

    Cleverly sure has....

    Don't count the Brit out..

Cleverly is going to make a masterpiece of Kovalev. I am so confident I have already put £100 on Cleverly to win via Paddypower!

Cleverly is 5/4 and Kovalev 4/5, which is really very close odds. I imagine a lot of people here would be putting their cash, real or virtual, on Kovalev at that price. I'm wondering are the bookies underestimating him or is esb overhyping him? :think
