I just don't think the gulf in class is as massive as others do. 'World Title' or not Cleverly has shown that he's a good European level fighter, he's not beaten world class opponents. Bellew is domestic level, and while this fight is a big jump up in class it's one I think he can make.

Cleverly has still beaten some decent opponents at European level, and hasn't really struggled with any of them. Bellew though, had trouble vs McKenzie, who is British level at best.

It's a big step up for Bellew IMO. Cleverly has been fighting at European level for a while now and Bellew hasn't been outside British level.

Can't see anything other than a Cleverly victory unless Bellew lands an absolute corker of a shot but probably won't happen. Seems most are relying on a money shot for Bellew, but let's be real - Cleverly should win without to much problems based on recent outings.

    Cleverly inside 8.

It will be a big test for Clev in front of a large & hostile crowd. He is talented & entertaining but he is young & does get over-excited at times. When he does he is vunerable & easy to hit. If he stays cool & fights to a disciplined strategy then he is a favourite to win, though he will need to make close rounds decisive to build a good lead.

Its an even bigger test for Tony, as an underdog who will have a passionate crowd on his side. He is the more natural puncher imo & I think he will get chances, I hope he can take them but dont be surprised if this fight goes the distance & is very, very close on the cards.

    Then the rematch

Just watched the way in how wound up does bellew seem everytime there together yet cleverly looks cool, if he takes this into fight cant see bellew winning.

Suprised to see in Sky bellew is 2inches taller with a 6inch reach advantage didnt realise he was that much bigger.

Yeah, I agree. I never like to hear of fighters talking about retirement until they're past their prime but Cleverly probably isn't going to be in his prime after another 6 fights, so it's incredibly premature. I think he can improve a lot and become a genuine world champion but it'll take time. He's only 24, so when he fulls out and properly matures, I think he could get to heavyweight by the end of his career too, all going well.

Let's hope he learns some defence then.
