truth bomb that is why i dont get this Bellow fight being PPV?the first fight just does not call for it where as the first Froch / Groves obviously did
Similar strategy to the Box Office fights last year of Froch/Kessler and Froch/Groves. Obviously without anything at stake- strikes me as PPV for PPV sake.
This is a massive step down from those fights. You could argue neither Bellew or Cleverly are even world class - especially at cruiserweight. This is a British/European title fight in all but name!
The fans are simply viewed as mugs by promoters and fighters who know that people will part with their money based on the predictable rehearsed acting at press conferences. They will keep screwing people until the mugs wake up.
Ridiculous... Cleverly and Bellew are not world class, it is not a world title fight and I am sure the undercard will be nothing special. It's a good domestic fight but never a PPV event. I will not be buying it and I even bought Haye Vs Harrison :nut
The money Eddie made in the Froch-Groves PPV is giving it all back on this clunker. At least he is giving something back to boxing.
Sick of Hearns poor under cards, how many times do we see Quigg fight unknown fighters not even in the top Ten. Sky will now be ramming this rivalry between TB and NC down our throats. ****s the lot of them
There is not one fighter on this card that is worthy of PPV. If you add all the fights together, it's way off charging an extra £15.00. Top of the bill a domestic fight between a Welsh bloke who says the bloke from Liverpool who he is fighting has 'tits bigger than his missus'. PPV no f*cking way
Who on earth gets excited about being charged to watch a fight? People pleased this is PPV need to get a grip.
