    No way the best fighter in the UK.. Whos he fought? Hes been tested once by Bellew, hes nothing special in my opinion..

    I think this just proves that Kovalev really is a talent. Of course there are still some question marks remaining over his durability which will need to be answered but he really is good.

    It seemed Cleverly on points was a popular pick among many hard core fans and I felt that way as well at first until I sat down and actually watched Kovalev and realised just how good he is. Since then I just had a gut feeling Kovalev was going to take it although I was still rooting for Cleverly.

    I am not one to throw fighters under the bus after a defeat but for me this proves that Cleverly is not quite elite level. I'm not saying that he will never become an elite level boxer but he had not faced a truly top 5 guy until tonight and he just took a battering.

    Also i would like to say that the reffereeing was a bit of a disgrace to be honest. I know they try to give home advantage but when a refferee is literally having to carry a boxer back to his stool things have gone too far.

    Kovalev has already killed somebody in the ring before and that could have easily happend again tonight.

    I never baught into the whole cleverley has an iron chin thing. He had been rocked in previous fights.

    Lack of quality opposition has cost him as he thought he could get away with his showboating.

    almost a carbon copy of why Price got KO'd
