Clinching should be banned

    See how good the Pacquiao -Margarito fight was.

    And Cotto - Margarito....

    It's because there was no clinching.

    Clinching should be banned, it ruins the spectacle.

    clinching is part of boxing. yes it could get ugly especially if it's done regularly but clinching can also save a boxer from being KTFO. great boxers had often done this including floyd and pac on some occasions.
     
  8. clinching is absolutely necessary. if anything it can make the spectacle last longer. too much clinching is banned and can result in disqualification.

    clinching is part of the game, rules against excessive clinching should be enforced
