even though it wasnt the slugfest we expected, it was a great fight by froch. I though that fight would be like khan maidana and khan would win like froch.

Well he can be very proud of himself. He equalled Clottey's impersonation of a punchbag in my opinion.

Froch completely outclassed Abraham. A lot of people seem to think Abraham is too small or was never that good, which, again, shows why Froch is still being under appreciated. Every knew about Abraham's talents and limitations and the majority thought he'd knock Froch out. He didn't get worse overnight, he was just against a better man.

I guarantee that if Froch beats Johnson, it will be because Johnson was old. If he beats Ward, it will be because Ward was inexperienced. If he beats Bute, it will be because Bute was overrated.

Froch won't get the recognition he deserves because he's awkward and people can't see why he's so good. If he's not that good, then his opposition must be poor, right?

Froch gets so little credit for his abilities. He may not be 'fast' but his footwork, angles, ability to guage distance, jab and upper body movement are better than folk give him credit for.

Abraham never felt power like Froch brought to the table; that scared him hence why he covered up too much. Froch's power is freakish to be honest.

Froch is more grit and determination than skill, he lost to a poorer version of kessler than calzaghe fought (could have been a draw though) and was lucky to get the nod in the dirrell fight in his hometown. If ward is as good as people are saying and lots of people are hyping him up so much, he will beat froch with a fair bit to spare, like calzaghe would have done also. But ward may well have major problems if he doesnt have the officials in his backpocket so location of the fight in key if they both make it that far, if its in the states or god forbid oakland, froch has no chance, anywhere else he has a decent shot i think

No disrespect meant here, but how is Froch's power freakish?

Since he stepped up in class he's scored 1 KO and 1 total knockdown and that was against Jermain Taylor. Between Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, and Abraham he's landed plenty of leather and has only scored one knockdown...not saying he doesn't have power but that hardly qualifies as "freakish"

I agree with this...at first I HATED watching Froch fights because he had such a big mouth and he has one of the most unorthodox styles I've ever seen. I thought "this guy's just a slugger that won't be able to do anything against someone with a boxing IQ above 10." My prediction looked pretty good as of round 11 of Taylor/Froch, and then I was forced to reconsider a little bit.

I do honestly think Andre Dirrell (despite how many people hate him on this forum) outboxed Froch and should have at least had a draw, but it wasn't an easy night and Froch wasn't one-dimensional in there. He understands the science of boxing better than I initially thought he did, and he showed against Abraham that he can use it when he needs to do so. I have gone from thinking Froch was just a hypejob to looking forward to each one of his fights.
