The kid needs to understand, When are a Woods who is a former world champ and just came off a crushing defeat and lost his title, you pick a little easier opponent than a hard as nails pressure guy like Muriqi. Woods needs a level below Muriqi for his fight back then go for a top 15 type of guy like your boy.
Woods is not ready for such a good and tough opponent yet, after his loss, and should not be expected to be either, yet. Soon, though, if he is to remain a force, he'll have to accept the challenge of someone as good and tough as EM.
If Woods was saying that Muriqi is not ranked in IBF.? Now is Muriqi ranked 13 on IBF. So Woods what next ?????
Woods is a good pro with a young family and after the last defeat I would not doubt that retirement has crossed his mind on various occaisions. Woods will no doubt have made a good bit of money and he has achieved alot in his time and he must know that the chance of getting to the top will take along time and alot of effort. I hope he comes back fit and strong and also mentally prepered but the choice of opponent is upto him. Elvir is a good fighter but brings nothing that Woods needs. Woods beating Elvir would mean nothing even if it brings a decent ranking. Personally I think Woods should go for a domestic gimme fight next and then use his name to fight another named fighter that will put him baclk into the title picture. In reality Muriqi is nothing more than a Euro contennder hoping who Tarver beat easy in his own gimme comeback fight.
Tarver beat easy ????? Not Muriqi but Woods was beaten easy from Tarver. Look the match and than can you see who beat who ?? Tarver was not the really winer of that match.Thats boxing ??? You must KO big names like Tarver to win othervise you never get the fear or real desicion. I hope Muriqi have learned that .
