Clinton will need watch for Cloud's uppercuts and make sure he gets into fight and starts to test him.

 

Clinton is one hard geezer. if Cloud goes all out for the KO it will play into Woods hands. A prime Roy Jones could not really hurt Woods.

Woods has 2 inches height and a massive reach advantage over Cloud. Cloud is 5ft 10 thats the same height as Amir Khan!!

 

Cloud will box circles around him unfortunately

 

His sparring sounds awful.

Ridiculous to be honest this is last chance saloon and he's sparring like that. Ovil is ok though because he does have similar ways to cloud and is athletic. The rest is awful

 

if woods was really in such bad shape before the tarver fight then he should've pulled out. that fight did irreparable damage to his reputation. completely wiped out the way he turned his career round after the jones defeat, and will probably be what he's now most remembered for.

 

whatever happened to john fewkes anyway? and isn't he about 6 weight divisions below woods?

 

Yeah he was a lightweight but lost interest and started drinking i think and let himself go i think.

 

He said Fewkes weighed 168lbs...so that should give a fair idea where he is right now.

 

Fewkes must think he's a white yorkshire version of James Toney

 

I for one hope Clinton can at least put up a good performance on US soil, he's a good guy and a likeable character who achieved a lot in the sport, given he was never all that dedicated until he realised he could fight a bit.

 

Interesting interview. sadly if Woods does beat Cloud the US media will just say 'who was Cloud?'

Who knows maybe Woods can do another Hoye preformance though? good luck to him.

 

Looking forward to the fight and hopefully Woods can pull it out, but i can envision Cloud beating him and Woods probably retireing in his corner.
