I wasn't implying that Jones is not shot, I know that myself being a big Jones fan. I just feel that a win over Shieka would give him one last chance at a title, via an elimination bout with Clinton Woods. A win against an inactive Shieka doesn't deserve any credit IMO, but seeing as this is Roy Jones, he's gonna pull something out the bag and get a title shot somehow if he is to beat Omar.

Jones beat an old, bloated, blown up welterweight fighter in Tito Trinidad, and look what his next fight was - against the ring champ Calshitty.

What I"m basically saying is that Roy needs to hang`em up! He cant compete at the Elite stage anymore...I hate watching a figher fight on for to long and put their health at risk.

But I do agree - it's time for Jones to hang em up, win or lose against Shieka. It's in front of his hometown, a good way to bow out of the sport.

 

I agree with that! I know Jones isnt needing money (at least I hope not) so I dont want to see him get any brain damage.
