Dawson is shamelessly ducking Woods, thats why he's been calling out Calzaghe.....he knows he's on borrowed time and wants to get his big payday before Woods gets to him.

Fair do's. But he is involved in a way coz the gonzalez fight was billed as an eliminator like tonight. Might see Woods-Cloud next.

As for Dawson-Woods, I'd favour Dawson but i'll wait till i watch tonights fight on replay till being definate.

Tarver took endless shots from Dawson and went the distance.

For my money Woods has a better chin than Dawson. Plus, Dawson likes to chill at times and that will give Woods time to recover.

If Woods doesn't freeze, he has a chance to be competitive. Still, Dawson 117-111.

Would like Woods to fight Cloud first, in the U.S (surely Showtime or Versus would pick it up????) Cloud beats a top-rated contender and makes the Dawson fight a pretty big event, or Woods conquers his fear of the bright lights, beats a very dangerous fighter and shows us he is ready to face even the prospect of fighting Dawson.

Wood's chin will be a good gauge of Cloud's power. Gonzalez was tough, but more ringworn than Woods.

If Cloud's power is as good as it seems, he could be the first to genuinely stop Woods. But I couldn't call this one at the moment.

But come on, Clouds vs. Dawson??!?!? Who here doesn't think that would be a great fight?

Still, I'm being far too serious for this thread. I need to drink some water :good

One swallow does not make a summer, and one Cloud doesn't make a storm. The Gonzalez result was pretty good, but the mexican was coming off of the back of two defeats, one to Woods...Cloud had been spoon fed opponents prior to Gonzalez, Woods - Cloud would be a decent match-up but I honestly think that if the fight is made soon Clinton beats him

    That elicted genuine laughter.

Without a doubt one of the greatest quotes I have ever read on ESB, which will undoubtedly go over the heads of most of the U.S posters on here, not their fault though.

cloud would not let clinto settle in

clinto would have a tough time putting the pressure on
but same goes for cloud, i am not stupid there are still questions that need answers with cloud but he is very promising

and let me ask you guys this how many times has gonzalez been stopped?

once and that was by cloud

    very promising indeed
