Random, I know. Exhibit 3,800 on the importance of keeping your right hand home when you're in against a big left hooker. Considering that Van Horn got clipped right on the button by a big hook that he never saw coming, while his chin was fully exposed, I'm kind of amazed that he was able to get up so quickly. Showed a lot of courage that fight, though his strategy left Nigel Benn appropriately puzzled: https://streamable.com/45qg6

Great example of the importance of keeping the right hand up. I'm surprised he got up at all, with how stiff he was when he went down. Barkley was such a dangerous fighter.

DVH was a B-level fighter with A-level heart and determination. An honest prizefighter without a cowardly bone in his body. Nothing but respect for him.

Lol,...a serious, no ****, badass knockdown, if there ever was one. I'm surprised Van Horn got up too.

Yes, but Van Horn was a fighter...not some overly protected, chicken****, cowardly cherry picker type that we've seen so much of over the years.
