    Looks like the initial shot .. that uppercut snapped his head up pretty good as well

    Foul.Ironically Carpentier the referee, warned Jack Johnson for hitting Frank Moran in a clinch.

    Something about protecting yourself at all times and something else about hitting on the break.

    This Lewis' 250th or so fight and he went on to rack up another career's worth after. How was he doing post-career?

    The referee was holding Lewis's arm. Lewis was a welter weight anyway puffed up to 157lbs for this fight whilst Carp was 175lbs.No surprise how it ended. Protect yourself at all times but a bit difficult to do when the third man is holding your arm.

    Yeah, I read that. Lewis looks pretty beat up already. Then again, he is giving away 20 pounds. Then again again, weight doesn't matter.

    Still, was he able to talk after his career?

    They were both hitting dirty (arguably) on the inside the entire fight. Both often turning to the ref while the other was unloading in the clinch. The uppercut landed by Carpentier in the clinch, comparatively looked very civil. The overhand right he landed off the clinch stunned Lewis, and even seemed to lift him off his feet. Th next overhand right was basically a free shot taken at the right time to finish him off.
