Holy smokes... He connected at will on that guy. Vicious jab followed by that right, then an incidental right uppercut.

The bags are awkward, although the heavy bag wasn't as bad as that speed bag. He's pretty awful at that, just from the brief footage.

 

I love the way the referee rushes to aid the knocked out fighter!
Peterson was a decent fighter, but too light for the big boys.

 

If that was Marciano some on here would be waxing lyrical about his power and skills!

 

Jack Petersen was one of the best British heavyweights. Good to see him get a thread here.

 

That was vicious, the way that the poor fella’s head bounced off the canvas.

 

I’ve just watched a longer version of this Mac.
The referee never at any time went to Meen’s aid after the count!
Meen actually suffered a bad knockdown at the end of the 1st round and had to be helped back to his corner.
They were tough times!
