    i don't understand.

why would kessler be annoyed that his resting heartbeat is now public knowledge? doesn't that only show everyone how fit he is?

please let me know cause i find it funny why that is a problem!

Kessler wants to stay the clear underdog. Makes it easier to prepare for the fight. Doesn't like to brag, young Kessler.

34 is great for a man his size.
He's more than capable of throwing em' bombs for the full 12 rounds.

There's been other boxers with physical and genetic traits in their favor. Its never seemed to make any of em INVINCIBLE:nono

Expect a great fight, both men will be in tremendous condition and are at the top ELITE level of 60, 68 fighters. The winner is TRUE CHAMP, no questions asked, no thoughts revserved, and is positioned for a potentila mega fight.:yep

No doubt Kessler has youth but that doesnt necessarily beat experience and craft. Mikkel gets his shot to PROVE that his game can defeat the best.

well that sounds a reasonable explaination. anyway maybe he was joking around with his personal trainer, and really didn't give a damn who knew about it. though yes, being the underdog does make for less pressure on a fighter most times.

Sounds like a bunch of bullcrap leaked to make Kessler look better, big deal.

You can have all the stats in the world, and all the pre-fight hype, don't mean **** until the bell rings and you're face to face with another man who wants to put the hurt on you.

Can't wait for this fight, one of the most anticipated of the year by far.

Old news was on the board a month ago...and i think that i was this they were reffering to, clear irony!

I just hope he wont over train, he said that he would keep sparring for longer then he normally do...

Calzaghe had his last, and only second K.O in 1997. And Kessler has never been stopped, so i hope not:patsch

If his resting pulse is 34 he is very fit indeed. However he is not runnung a marathon, he is going to get hit and that changes the rules. Id does suggest he will not tire much in the later rounfds unless he is hurt.

Just for posing rights on behalf of one of Scotland's amateurs, Middleweight, Fundo Mhura, when fully fit has a resting pulse of 29.
