[CLIP] Muhammad Ali out-jabs Sonny Liston near the pocket

Sonny is finished its all over his face. Ali's Jab cracked him good 4 times in that clip

 

I like this part of the fight. Ali shows his more convential skills. People who call him an unschooled freak of nature should really see how effortlessly he slips those jabs and comes back with his own left.

 

What's wrong with Liston,gassing after 5 rounds?

 

Liston's jab was so slow, that even if you slipped it you would be hit with it on your way back. What a powerful jab though.

 

that's why 53 years later people still believe Ali was the greatest. that's influence for you.

 

Ali's jab was better than Holmes. Ali's superior movement made his jab a more powerful weapon. Add to this prime Ali was so much quicker than all other hwts including Holmes.

Ali prior to that round was constantly circling Liston. Here he is standing in front of Sonny and still Liston can't hit him.
