No, that had a 116-112. And the press scores were much wider, Canelo GGG 3 was seen by the public as more one-sided than Canelo Bivol. Most Canelo GGG 3 press scores were 119-109, whereas Canelo Bivol was more in the 117-111 range on average.
Lmao at all the cope for “defense”. This is what it’s come to when Canelo is being clearly beaten. It’s defense now.
"Defense" is in fact one of the 4 scoring criteria for how a round should be scored. The ropes master repeatedly making Bivol miss there and doing so in an eye catching way is a point scoring sequence and can absolutely swing rounds.
Is that a fact? I seem to recall you suggesting that it would be impossible for Bivol to win a decision in Vegas.
10-2 for Bivol was what most said for Canelo vs Bivol. The fans on boxrec had it 118-110 for Bivol. The fans had the GGG vs Canelo 3, 116-112 for Canelo. Canelo was tired the last for rounds and being out fought by a 40 year old and thankful for the final bell.
More like a toad-shaped giant leprechaun who those of normal height and dimensions have to reach down to knee level to crack them in the mush
The Boxrec fan averages are 117.02 for Bivol and 110.5 for Canelo. That tells you how close the fans polled had it. A majority of fans had Canelo winning Rounds 4 and 9, with Rounds 1-3 close. https://boxrec.com/en/scoring/2804145 For GGG, the fan averages are 116.25 for Canelo and 111.82 for GGG. https://boxrec.com/en/scoring/2850125 The fans had Canelo winning each of the first 8 rounds, with GGG getting Rounds 9-11 and round 12 with Round 12 very even. So while the final fan card ended up closer for Canelo GGG 3, the fight was seen as a shutout for the first 8 rounds. Canelo Bivol was seen as universally more competitive early on and more entertaining. But yes the Boxrec fan poll did have Canelo GGG 3 closer, that's true, however the average press scores had Canelo GGG 3 far wider. That was my point, the boxrec fan poll notwithstanding, the press clearly saw Canelo GGG 3 as far more one-sided.
