I don't think he embarrassed DLH and Pac. Frustrated, maybe, but it wasn't RJJ-Toney by any stretch.

Might be a more accurate description but both really didn’t land a solid punch on him

Floyd obviously looked himself in the mirror & asked himself some searching questions, & concluded that he hasn't made a big enough tit of himself yet. I offer Mcgregor & Paul as exhibit 300 & 301.

No. But he didn't land much either. Just enough to steal most rds.

In comparison, Whitaker looked more convincing against Nelson, McGirt and Chavez.

What's his case over SRR, Greb, Langford, Armstrong, Duran, Moore, Fitzsimmons, Gans, Leonard?

That he's undefeated, although he's not above SRR, Greb, Langford or Armstrong and Moore as far as I'm concerned.

His undefeated record means very little.

Sven Ottke retired unbeaten and several other boxers had longer winning streaks than Mayweather.

Margo - Cotto was 100% legit I watched Marg's hands wrapped there was nothing wrong with them. There never was any attempted loaded gloves EVER!! only in Nazim Richardson's twisted mind & the Keystone Kops
(CSAC) acted on his blatant lies

If that's the argument, then I don't get the low ranking of Marciano compared to fighters with more losses.

Show me one iota of proof there EVER were any infractions involving Plaster & I'll listen to you. Richardson walked away wouldnt comment, The CSAC also refused to answer so obviously they had no proof just accusations.
All Javier did wrong was ACCIDENTALLY put a harmless used pad in Tony's wrap the rules require a new pad every time. At the most a technical offence
to call it loading the gloves is BULL FECES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why does every Mayweather thread on this forum end up being about Margarito's hand wraps?

To be fair never saw Greb. Impressive record and all but pre 30s boxing is when it was still in its infant stage at no fault of any of the warriors then I don’t personally put them in any p4p the skill sets were not there. As the others go Mayweather was better against his opponents then they were against there’s. In fairness to some of the others they either fought more often or fought a slightly higher caliber of opponent although I think Mayweathers competition for a career was fine enough to be put into the convo. Pac and Alvarez alone are p4p greats and he beat them...easily. Did SRL easily handle Duran? Hearns? Absolutely not. And you can compare the three easily. Alvarez and Pac are that good. I think when you start talking about Charles and Moore both fighters had winning streaks almost as long as Mayweathers record against some real quality guys. But even then they didn’t DOMINATE the way he did. The only way to put Mayweather above those guys is viewing how well he dominated in the stats and watch the fights to see how easy it was. He wasn’t fighting bums but high caliber guys and they couldn’t touch him. I’ve never seen a fighter do what he did and I don’t think I ever will. RJJ early on had a nice run but eventually he slowed down. Mayweather never did.

    No they aren't.

Duran was a vastly superior boxer to Pac and Alvarez. Prime Duran would have beaten Mayweather and Pac quite easily.

SRL beat Hearns too. A boxer who would have massacred Floyd.

Think you’re viewing them in rose colored glasses. I don’t agree Duran beats any easily or Hearns or SRL. All p4p greats. I’m sure Mayweather would drop a fight to someone probably Hearns although it’s not a definite. But I’d wager he’d do just fine against all three. Spent my life hoping he’d get knocked out eventually you just have to respect his greatness and ring craft. You seem like you really don’t like him. What about his style and ability to adapt and everything makes you think he couldn’t compete w those men?
