With american judges and referees what did you expect? I mean there is something called objectivity and it should be mandatory to have judges and referees to be from a neutral country. People here hate on the UK scene, but from what i can recall mostly the judges are from a neutral country

I had Kovalev winning fairly close, but clear enough to make this a bad decision. Al Bernstein was spot on and **** like this is ruining boxing.

Man.... This fight was as close as it gets. 1 point either way I have no problem with, but I felt Ward put on a strong performance and the momentum shifted after the 4th. Ward won the fight close.

I'm mean they could have got 3 UK judges.

If i were nice to Ward i will give him 6 rounds, which would´ve make Kovalev the winner, due to the knock down. The pro Ward crowd even booed the hometown decision. Ward showed heart and were the better fighter from the fourth round, but Kovalev at least three or four of the last eight rounds.

If the knock down was the deciding factor for you, then so be it. But Kovalev should´ve still got the W.

How often have we seen close and even not so close fights wrongly scored in favour of the home fighter, particularly in the US?

The Hooker vs Perez fight on the undercard also had a bad decision in favour of the American fighter.

Over the years we've all seen it happen time and time again.

Corrupt officiating and home cooking definitely exist in boxing.....

....except when it involves your favourite boxer, of course.
