Thank you for posting this up.

It brought back some great memories from the 60's & 70's.

Is there anybody on this forum who is from Chicago? The reason I ask is when they had the first Ali-Frazier fight, one of the closed circuit venues in Chicago had audio and technical problems, so the patrons ended up missing the fight. They then proceeded to trash the place, destroying everything in sight. Anyone here happen to have been there or know about it? Or know of or experienced a similiar situation with closed circuit?

LOL, those who bemoan Pay per views I am guessing never went to a closed circuit show.

Watered down beer, a 20" TV, a picture breaking up and if there was sound, you could not here it anyway, because of the noise of your fellow watchers.

Pay per view is one of the great innovations in boxing.
