Closer Fight: Broner Vs. PDL or Rios Vs. Abril

Broner vs PDL. It's been a while, but while I remember PDL being the aggressor, I don't remember that aggression being all that effective. There was a toss up round or two.

A 6-4 type fight with a round or two that could go either way is much closer than a clear 8-4/9-3 fight.

They both lost . Abril Rios was a robbery to the nth degree.

 

Broner/Ponce was much closer than Rios/Abril. If I remember correctly, Rios only won 2 rounds on my scorecard.

I know where your going with this. Either way, Broner was too green, but then PDL too small. Rios too one dimensional, Abril too clingy, but wasn't hugging as much as some say he was. He schooled the **** outta Rios. Abril wasn't smaller than Rios tho. PDL's win over Broner tho closer fight slightly more impressive than Abril over Rios. Alvarado was outboxing Rios too, not a surprise there.

 

This is the bull**** that gets me with these fickled boxing fans...So we're suppose to reward Rios when he couldnt do jack **** because you feel like he didnt fight the type of fight you didnt like...**** your personal feelings..WE dont score fights like that...Rios did **** all to even land anything of note...If Rios was skilled, he would have cut down the ring when Abril used movement and pinned him down...Thats what an elite fighter would do instead of chasing a fighter and getting hit in the process...There is no reasonable explantion as to why you dudes are giving this fight to Rios.:-(
