I thought Hagler edged it against Leonard.

I've never rewatched it (I ought to sometime), but I thought Mayweather won easilly.

Leonard Hagler was a close fight. I thought the Mayweather vs. Manny one was easily for Floyd..

Hagler-Leonard will always be close, either way, though I think Leonard probably edged it out a draw probably would have been the fairest decision all things considered. Floyd-Pac, who knows? It's too boring to watch again, I can put that hour to much better use:eek:

I think I scored Hagler - Leonard 117-113 last time I watched it, for Hagler.
But there were some close rounds and it is deservedly a notoriously polarizing fight when it comes to scoring, with good honest folk on both sides no doubt.
It was a fairly good boxing match.

Mayweather-Pacquiao I just don't have any inclination to watch again. At the time it looked like an obvious points win for Mayweather, as I expected, but it was even duller and less eventful than my low expectations. It was dreadful. A light sparring session at best, not even a pale imitation of a fight.

    Say what?!?
Hagler vs Lenonard, without a shadow of doubt. I think a respectable argument can be made that Hagler beat Leonard (not one that I'm likely to agree with, but respectable nonetheless ) but I just don't see any possible argument that Paquio beat Mayweather.

I've yet to speak to anyone who's opinion I respect who has Manny winning. I hate Floyd and am a massive Manny fan. But he didn't win that. Not even close . 9 rounds to 3 IMO. I can't watch Hagler v Leonard unbiased as I love Leonard and never liked Hagler, rated and respected him but never liked him. However even watching it as unbiased as possible I can't get Hagler winning. But a lot of people do. That makes it close and debatable . Floyd outsmarting Pac isn't.

    Mayweather pretty convincingly beat pac

Hagler beat Leonard by less of a margin but still should have gotten the nod

Would you be willing to share your scorecard of this fight? Based on this thread I took a rewatch and rescored this fight. The judges are 10-2 and 2x 8-4 for Floyd. I would agree with them as someone who is not a fan of either guy but an appreciator of both.

First it is a dreadful fight, where manny is *somewhat* of the aggressor but his accuracy was so poor both by punch stats and the eye test. Floyd just neutralized everything he tried to do. To me Floyd won 8 clear (not wide) rounds likewise manny 2 clear rounds (4 & 6) to me the only other debatable rounds are 9 and 10. I can see both of them being scored both of them on some cards. I felt Floyd edged 9 and Manny 10. Not sure what rounds you scored for Pac but I would be interested in knowing. And since I hate when people ask for mine without giving their own here is mine.

    Floyd 1-2-3-5-7-8-9-11-12
    Pac 4-6-10
    Floyd 117-111

Hagler vs Leonard was close. But you’re a clear Mayweather hater if you had Pacquiao anywhere near winning
