It seems that clottey is a bit dried up and his cuts was below normal, I mean quite deeper... I'll still go with Pac for this one...win or loose...
Come off it. Firstly the pictures were taken outside in what looks like overcast weather and not under professional lighting indoors which would bring out the definition more. Pac doesn't look emancipated like he did at the Diaz weigh in and outdoors his skin takes on a different colour - less tan even. He still looks ripped and not at all soft. I would like to see a better image of Clottey, one where he isn't turned to the side so we can compare size but regardless of what tehy look like now come this time tomorrow it's likely that Clottey will absolutely dwarf Pacquiao and may well prove to be his toughest test yet. The immovable object versus the irresistable force!
why do people like this have rights to a computer? what are you bitching at the guy for? if he likes pac or hates floyd or is neutral, does it really matter?
I tried to look for a tale of the tape but they don't have one. I don't think that Clottey is going to "dwarf" Paq. Tyson stood 5'10" and in his prime weighed in at 217. Lennox, Bruno, Holmes were about 235-245, 6'2"-6'5" and none of these guys "dwarfed" Tyson. Sweet Pea was the same height as Manny and probably fought just a couple pounds heavier come fight time. Would Clottey "dwarf" Sweet Pea? Roach is selling an image, that paq is this "little guy" fighting big guys. I never saw this argument with SSM(lightweight and jr middleweight Champ, Duran(lightweight and Middleweight Champ), Leonard(welterweight and supermiddleweight Champ)or Hearns(welterweight and lightheavyweight Champ); all guys that successfully moved up several weight classes. Clottey couldn't carry Quartey's jock, who was a level behind all the elites of his era. By the way, the real jump in classes is to 154, where they use ten ounces instead of eight. It's a great accomplishment what Manny has done, drugs or no drugs. But enough with this "little guy" analogy. Manny is a true welter/jr.welter. It is what it is. In my opinion, he loses to a prime Hoya, Mosely, Tito, Leonard, Sweet Pea and Forrest at welterweight and gets KTFO by Hearns. He also lost to Marquez, even many of the Phillipine press believed that.
Clottey is way bigger than I anticipated. Quite taller too, I think he's a bit taller than the 5'8" reported. Really, it's quite amazing how he makes weight every time. Look at him man, if you'd have to cut one pound off him, even half would do, you'd have to cut some muscles. Dude is a LMW fighting welter. Pacquio isn't soft, he's just a guy really having to make weight in order not to be too small. He's no true Welter Weight, I think we all know that, I'd wager he could still be fighting at lightweight (135). It will definitely be a hard fight for Pacq. Whoever fights Clottey is in for a rough matchup. And this time, there really aren't any complaints as Clottey is a prime fighter boxing as well as he's ever boxed. If Pacq wins it, it will be big. As stated before, I don't think Clottey is active enough to win on points. Still, if he doesn't fade, who knows what might happen.
