It was obvious he threw the fight. I called it before the fight and after. After watching the Clottey vs Cotto fight then Clottey vs Manny it was plain as day he threw the Pac fight. Thats why he has been in hiding ever since.

He's not saying he threw the fight. He's basically saying that he knew that he would never get the decision so he saw no point in throwing more punches. I don't know if he's telling the truth, but I do agree that there was no way he was going to get the decision. Regardless, you always have to give your best out there.

Do you seriously think Arum would in any way shape or form allow one of his in house fighters to beat his super mega multi million cash cow??

Think about it. It makes sense.

All hes saying is that he lost the fight mentally.

I dont think he'd admit to throwing a fight,so flippantly in a meaningless interview

Clottey claimed that he had diarrhea in the dressing room due to eating bad banku (goat) soup, thus it affected his performance.

Clottey said in an interview "you wouldn't believe what was said to me in the dressing room." This statement here is why some people think Arum paid Clottey to lose. If the stomach aches are true, then I imagine Bob was like, "What the **** are you talking about? Do you know how much money there is invested in this fight? Get your ****ing ass out there and fight." I'm sure that f Bob fixed the fight, he wouldn't have told Clottey to lose seconds before their ring entrance.

Anyways, Clottey wasn't ****ing paid to lose.

Just check out that ring walk - Dude was doin' a jig the entire way. NOT the behavior of someone who's pissed that he's being paid to lose.

People just can't accept the fact that manny beat this guys fairly. Go on, find a way to make loopholes for it. Make it look pathetic so that you can generalize manny beat wash-up fighters in ww. I know this guy's bothering you cause you can't call him washed-up. lol

Go on, try harder so that you can find loop holes. That's all you know. Discredit is your game. Hope you get satisfied afterwards.

If clottey was throwing the fight, why was he throwing strong uppercuts @ to manny when he sees good openings? Why does his few punches thrown intends a knockout? Why was he desparate in the last round? Think again.:deal

Its a lot deeper than that and I hope Clottey does not play himself outa pocket and **** the rest of his career up. Clottey was prime when he faced Pac and quite frankly in a normal situation, he would have beat Pacs ass. Out of all the WW that Pac faced, Clottey was the only one that didnt have any solid backup. He didnt have a team of supporters or any real advisors. No one to keep the wolves off his back. Its a cold world and he got used.Pac was getting used too, but in a different way and he didnt know it untill Marquez 3.He was fed soft targets and built up in the media as the second comming and ole Arum was making enough money to burn up a wet elephant with hundred dollor bills. I dont fault Manny cause he was doing what he loved to do and thats fight. He just wasnt who he thought he was. Marquez shoiwed him that. Now the only one with enough sense to tell them boys to kiss his ass, handles his own business, and makes tons of cash is Mayweather, so why in the **** is everybody hatin on him. LET A PLAYER PLAY.:bbb:bbb:bbb

One thing I noticed it that he hit Pacquiao just about everytime he threw. Hard shots too, because Pac's face was ****ed up. As someone else suggested though, if he is admitting he threw the fight, then he should be blacklisted. Clottey's best bet is to shut the **** up and deal with either his decision to throw the fight, or, him getting his ass kicked.

Roundgym, not sure if you're serious. We been here long enough to know boxing, its styles basically. I like clottey but he doesn't have great movement and would rather be defensive, slow reaction to punches unlike marquez. If he doesn't fight like that and then suddenly fights that like then the throwing of the fight discussion holds more water
