Am i the only person that saw Clottey landing the clean hard punchs in the fight? Clottey was landing combinations constantly and Cotto was running most of the fight. Cotto never had a sustained attack. I feel that Clottey deserved the win clearly. Cotto was busted up. Cotto had a bad eye and Clottey a bad knee. Clottey was nailing Cotto with left uppercuts, left hooks to the body and to the head.

I'd defo like to see a rematch.
It's not in the cards tho. Cotto is defo in demand right now.

Clottey had his chance & he blew it.
    he didn't knock him out.
(Even then... a decison would be close @ MSG...lol)

Would love to see a rematch, but more interesting fights are in the horizon for Cotto.

No, you weren't the only one. It was a competitive fight, but it was a clear Clottey win. I feel bad for Clottey because he did what he had to do, but the ****en judges ripped him off. In my book Cotto now has two losses plain and simple. Bad night for boxing.

Also, I'd say THE most effective punches in the fight were landed by Cotto.

The knockdown, the two BIG hooks at the end of one of the middle rounds had Clottey's hands down and head in the air wondering what the **** he'd just been hit with. Also, in one of the very late rounds, Cotto hit Clottey with a nice counter off the ropes and Clottey stumbled away.

Clottey didn't really phase Cotto all night. We all know what Cotto is like when is is hurt, stumbling and grabbing.

Love to see a rematch, and Arum said in any normal circumstance there would be a good shout for one but financial reasons may overule that. I think he sees only mega bucks fights now for Cotto which may be unfair on Clottey.

Close fight. Would love to see a rematch. I think Clottey could have made the fight very clear if he had pressed more in the last couple of rounds instead of marching forward and not throwing.

I think maybe he wasn't throwing because Cotto was countering with left hook to the head, which hurt him earlier. So, should give a little credit to Cotto for making Clottey apprehensive to open up.

Anyway, great fight. Both guys showed skills and guts. That's what boxing is all about. Wish they would make more fights like this.
