Terrible decision and unprofessional announcing from Lampley.

    On another note, the split decision trend continues. It's always A, B, A. Never A, B, B.

Yes, Lampley was bad. On the flip side, Steward was clearly pulling for Clottey. I could care less who won this fight. I have no vested interest in either guy. However, Clottey has no one to blame for this loss than himself. I said before the fight that Clottey's inactivity would again be the death of him and it cost him three rounds. He just doesn't do enough to win a fight of this level. The 10-12th rounds were his for the taking and he couldn't do what Margo did, close the show. I had it 114-113 Cotto. Sorry Josh. I think you're a great fighter, but you did not do enough in the last three rounds to win.

Clottey landed by far the cleaner shots and he landed over 50 more, IMO Cotto is very lucky to walk away with a W, BTW he should have lost a point for all the deliberate fouls.

:yep Cotto fought with one eye and still won. Close fight, but Cotto gutted out a win.

Cotto dug deep into his reservoir - Clottey didn't. Clottey "gave" (I'm sure Cotto had something to do with it) the fight away by not doing enough in the championship rounds.

    Aight.

I don't buy the ****, that Cotto was getting hammered with rights because of the blood. Cotto was getting his with the same punches before the cut.

Stop acting like it was a robbery because it wasn't.

Clottey may have won but it was a close fight.

You have to know if you are Clottey that you have to win big to win, thats just the way it is and he didn't do enough down the stretch...thats on him if you ask me.

None of the "fouls" where intentional FFS...

    Christ the bitching here sometimes.

116-111 is a joke and that judge should never do another fight.

The way Clottey reacted to the body slam I though he had broken his leg or something, it took him 5 seconds and he was moving his legs just fine. Some fine acting by Clottey though. He didn't adjust his plan, Cotto was fighting with one eye for 9 rounds and still won the fight.
