Let's have a little welterweight unification tourney like this:

    1. Margarito (WBA) vs. Williams (WBO)
    2. Clottey-Judah winner (IBF) vs. Berto (WBC)

Then the winner of 1. vs winner of 2. fight for ultimate welter supremacy.

Yep, probably because it's just one week after a huge WW showdown - ended in a stunning way...

The other reason: most of the fans think Judah is done and never heard of Clottey.

I for myself don't have a clue who to pick... Judah is much more skilled and I think he can still bring his A game if he's totally ready and focused - and by the way he's YOUNGER than Clottey. But Joshua is very skilled as well, gave Margarito a boxing lesson before he injured his hand and still managed to make it close (Margarito threw the most punches ever according to compubox and some still scored it for Clottey). His win over Corrales was very dominant too... so Clottey on points is the safe bet. But who knows? I think it's a good fight.

    Lets sum this up....
    Juda >> lowblow on Mayweather
    Cotto>> lowblow on Juda
Margo>> warned for lowblow on Cotto
Clotty gives Margo a run for his money and breaks his hands on his face.......
    Clotty vs. Juda
    Juda is KTFO

Yes... but I think Cotto and Margarito were the no1 and 2 anyway, so we should consider Margarito as the True Champ...

Alot has changed since I first posted on this thread...
Margarito beat Cotto & Berto is the WBC champion.

back to the subject, I think Clottey will take this fight.
Seeing a Jab bouncing off of Zab's head the entire fight.
Judah will not have enough pop to hurt Clottey.
    and though often called featherfisted...
I think Joshua has enough to wear Zab down and cause a possible stoppage 10th Rd'ish.

Well, if Clottey puts up another huge performance, he can be Margarito's no1 choice. So the winner should win big. And of course I give Clottey a better chance vs. Margarito... Judah is just not able to focus for 12 and his suspect chin would be tested.

143 is very very low for Judah, I'm a bit surprised. He barely made 147 for the Cotto fight and now he's closer to 140 to 147...

2 things: I bet he's in superb shape, probably one of his best ever, but Clottey will out-weigh him tonight heavily.

    I'm clueless who to pick...

I would love to give Zab a chance to win in this fight, and he does have an outside chance, but not an especially good one based on all the factors. His chin seems to be very shaky at this point. All Clottey has to do is keep chucking, keep leading, keep countering, and Clottey will more than likely open something up that he can close on. If the opponent can be hurt, or the opponent is in any way vulnerable, they don't stand much of a chance against Clottey. This is a guy who can take as much as he can dish out, likely more.

If Zab was more durable I'd like his chances better, but he's facing a strong, rugged, explosive, athletic, well timed, well executed guy, who is bigger than he is. Zab will need to box his ass off to even stay in this fight. Hopefully Judah can get some of that "Sweet Pea" back. A stoppage would be a sad way to see him go out.

Judah UD I guarantee it. Super Judah is back to claim the title.

I picked Clottey but really i dont know much about Clottey now that i think about it. He gave Margo a hard fight but he succumbed to his pressure. And dont use the he broke his hand excuse he was still using it and landing big shots at will. He also did not look great against i think his name was alvarado recently and he should have put on a good show in that fight yet it was very poor on his side.

I voted Clottey on points but i think now that it will be Zab on points. Sab must be hungry at this point and very well trained.
