Clottey by knockout in the 11th round. Judah is going to start off fast for the first 4 rounds but will fade after that

Okay, so Clottey won, he was the better man and it's a technical decision victory for him. But I think the TKO is definitely the correct call here, since it was a PUNCH, not a headbutt that caused the cut so severe that Judah couldn't (didn't want to) continue... here's a gif of the very last punch:

I think that's pretty clear. After that, Judah covered his head with his hands, the ref called a time-out, called for the doctor and shortly it was over. If a punch produces (or opens up deeply) a cut therefore a fighter can't continue, the rulebook says it's a TKO.

It was funny watching Judah stutter after Kellerman showed him the video.

Oh yeah, a little correction: Clottey did land another punch before the referee stopped it: a right hand. So the left uppercut-right hand combo did all the damage.

Clearly, a short left uppercut to the right side of Judah's face did the damage. There was no headbutt prior that caused that deep cut. It should be a TKO9 victory for Clottey, not a TD.

He had to make up a lie on the spot. He probably couldn't believe what they showed him.

There has been too little attention given to this on this board. It's absolutey ****ing CRIMINAL what happened to Clottey. Just b/c he got the decision anyway changes nothing about this fact. The TKO call was EASY. There was no headbutt anywhere in the fight, the punch that caused the cut was clear as day, and Zab even backed up afterwards immediately pawing at it. How in the **** did the referee **** this up??? Can you imagine if Judah had won on pts? Holy ****! Don't relax just b/c the right man won. This fight was a huge black mark on boxing. As bad a robbery as I've seen - even though no one was robbed. :D

So an obious question: Why the **** isn't instant replay allowed to protect fighters like Clottey from absolute idiot refs who have no business being the third man in the ring?
